Karyne (00:00:07) – Hi fantasy readers. This is Karyne Norton, your fellow book binger, and you are listening to the Finding Fantasy Reads podcast where you can test out a new fantasy story every single week to find your next favorite author.

You’ll want to stick around for today’s story if you like classic sword and sorcery fantasy with dwarves and elves who despise each other. It’s part of a larger anthology called Chronicles of Mirstone, and it’s written by Richard Fierce, who I happened to meet at the RAVE event in Vegas in November.

He’s an award-winning fantasy author of over 30 books, which have sold over 150,000 copies globally. He lives in northwest Georgia and has three daughters, three grandkids (which I don’t believe after meeting him because he looks way too young) plus four huskies and two ferrets. Basically, he has a zoo, but if his crazy zoo is anything like mine, I’m guessing it’s also crazy fun.

Today’s narrator is Paeter Frandsen, host of Christian Geek Central. Stick around to the end or check out today’s show notes to see where you can find more from both the author and the narrator, as well as how to enter our giveaway, which ends in two days.

For now, please enjoy A Taste of Blood by Richard Fierce.

Paeter (00:01:32) –  A Taste of Blood is read by Paeter Frandsen. Due to copyright, the full transcript of the story cannot be included here.
