Karyne (00:00:07) – Hi fantasy readers. This is Karyne Norton, your fellow book binger, and you are listening to the Finding Fantasy Reads podcast where you can test out a new fantasy story every single week to find your next favorite author.

Today’s story is a fun one about a boy finding a lost dragon. It’s written by Lauren Hildebrand, who writes character-driven fantasy adventures that explore spiritual truth. As a people-loving introvert, she’s passionate about connecting with and mentoring young writers. She works as head instructor at the Author Conservatory. She lives in always windy Kansas, considers Asian cuisine a primary food group, and can usually be found devouring classics or planning her next cosplay.

Today’s narrator is Paeter Frandsen, host of Christian Geek Central. Stick around to the end or check out today’s show notes to see where you can find more from both the author and the narrator. For now, please enjoy The Weaver and the Dragon by Lauren Hildebrand.

Paeter (00:01:16) –  The Weaver and the Dragon is read by Paeter Frandsen. Due to copyright, the full transcript of the story cannot be included here.

Karyne (00:38:42) – I hope you enjoyed listening to The Weaver and the Dragon by Lauren Hildebrand, narrated by Paeter Fransen of Christian Geek Central. If you want to read more by Lauren, go to lauren-hildebrand.mailchimpsites.com to find more of her work. Her debut novel, The Weeping Knight, is about a knight hunting for his kidnapped squire, and it’s available on her site or on Amazon.

The Weaver and the Dragon is part of an anthology I featured before called The Sun Still Rises. It’s a fantastic anthology put together in memory of Lani Forbes, a well-loved fantasy author in the Realm Makers community who lost her battle with cancer. All proceeds from the anthology go to her family.

If you enjoyed listening to Paeter narrate the story, you might also enjoy listening to his audio dramas at spiritblade.com or his podcast, Christian Geek Central, where he discusses movies, video games, and all things enjoyed by self-proclaimed geeks from a Christian worldview.

If you haven’t already subscribed to Finding Fantasy Reads on the podcast app of your choice, you should. When Apple sees that people are subscribed, they boost the show, which helps other people find it. I don’t know, it’s all those marketing algorithms that I don’t care to research, even though I probably should, because they’re important. But the more people who find the podcast, the longer I can keep putting more episodes out. So subscribe to the podcast and help spread the word.

As always, I will have links for all the sites I mentioned, including how to subscribe in the show notes. Thank you all for listening and happy reading.
